Clara Barton High School
Since 2013, Régine has served as a teaching artist/facilitator for Flanbwayan Haitian Literacy Project at Clara Barton High School. Most of her English Language Learners (ELL) students at CBHS are from Haiti. Using her training in photography, cultural anthropology, and performance, Régine has created an innovative approach to literacy through storytelling, photography and writing. Her ten-week mix-media literacy workshops at CBHS integrate and celebrate artistic expression, critical inquiry, social activism and cultural heritage.
